What is the estimated average wage (excluding benefits) of the new jobs that will be created (please provide a breakdown of wages by job classification)? What type of benefit package will the employees receive? All members of the Carp Catchers Cooperative Corporation (CCCC) will be paid the same base wage, adjusted by dependency allowances and will share in the net profits of the enterprise. Estimated base pay is $15.00 per hour and estimated share of profits is $5.00 per hour. CCCC will be formed and capitalized by payment for a memberhip share priced at $1000. All workers will be multi-tasking so there are no job descriptions as such. There are work specifications and training for each process. Over time, all workers will be trained for and will perform all work assignments in the shipyard. Benefits include lodging, meals, emergency medical treatment, medical insurance, vacation, PTO, and dependency allowances. CCCC will be incorporated in Missouri as a for-profit corporation.

Is there specific real estate being considered; if so, where?A candidate location would be on the Mississippi River inside the jurisdiction of the Pemiscot County Port Authority.
Does the company prefer an existing facility or Greenfield site?A possible purchase might be the Trinity Marine barge shipyard. Otherwise we would want raw land with river frontage or access to a quiet water port.
What are the building requirements for an existing facility?One clear span metal building with inside space 60' x 220' x 30' clear to ceiling.
What specific training needs does the company have?We will prepare our own courses and conduct all training. We will need a complete digital video studio, props, and one year's payroll for three to five persons; estimate: 1 million.

What is the reason for the relocation/expansion?The shipyard needs access to the Mississippi River for launching of the ships and to receive shipments of materials and equipment. Existing shipyards build ships using steel. Our ships' structures will be built mostly of wood. There are no large shipyards in Mid-America which can build large wooden commercial ships.
Provide a statement explaining why the requested incentives are critical in determining whether the proposed project is to be completed.Grants are necessary to fund the research and preparation of the working drawings, specifications and renderings. Sourcing and pricing, contracting, project management and engineering needs to be paid for up front. For instance we will be fabricating engineered bamboo structures (I-beams, etc) for which there is no current facility in the world. Much of the ship superstructure will be modular, assembled in the plant and lifted into place by crane. We will add to the roof tops, concentrated solar thermal panels. See:
