If I can assemble a team of professionals, I'm willing to make the Carp Catchers Cooperative Commercial Fishery an "open source" project. The all-volunteer professionals would include a marine engineer, a civil engineer, an electrical engineer, a mechanical engineer, a foundation engineer, a hydrologist, a general grading contractor, a fish (Asian carp) biologist, a chef, a marketing pro, a fund raiser, a PR person, an accountant, a corporate lawyer, a securities lawyer, an IT technologist, a banker, patent agent, a stock broker for SRI funds, a wooden ship builder, a hardwood lumber scientists, a glue technologists, a marine coatings technologists, a fiberglass technologist, a sports fishing marina manager, and regulatory specialists in the fields of EPA, flood control, U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, others, See the Carp Catchers Cooperative website: http://carpcatchersco-op.wetpaint.com When the final, U.S. Coast Guard approved plans are completed, then Mutual Aid Society of America, Inc., will license the folks who contributed to the success of the plans to sell licenses to ship builders, and keep the proceeds for their personal profit.
